We at Ocean View are so appreciative of the many lessons and contributions that Brian Morris gave to the club. He was a phenomenal golfer, mentor and friend who will be extremely missed. If we all take a page out of Brian’s journey what a beautiful world this would be. Brian served his purpose and earned his wings. He was different things to different people, but no one can deny that Brian was one of the most encouraging, motivating, forceful, positive, promising and hopeful people the world has ever seen.
Brian’s whole heart was concentrated on the success of Ocean View. The Ocean View family has a lot to thank Brian for and we will continue to move Ocean View in the right direction. He always knew how to bring a smile to your face no matter what you may be going through at the time. His passion for golf was second to none and it showed in his ability to lead a passionate team at Ocean View. The memories that were created with him will never be forgotten as his memory will live on at Ocean View forever.

Golden Lions Junior Golf Team: The Golden Lions Junior Golf Team was initiated in the summer of 2022. The group includes kids from ages 9-19 and they are provided with a full playing schedule at various courses around the Island under the direction of Ebonie Burgess Cox and the Golf Professionals. The Golden Lions have intentions of taking a local contingent to overseas tournaments on the East Coast and Canada every summer. The first event is scheduled for July 2023 in Toronto Canada. Ocean View also holds Bermuda’s best Junior Golf Tournament the ICS Tires/Cobra Puma Junior Championships in July each year. The Tournament is always well represented and welcomes Bermuda’s Junior golfers from all clubs. Membership is $100 for the year and each child will receive a Golden Lions Golf Team Shirt as well as scheduled tournaments of many different varieties.
